Keeping up with healthy and consistent eating habits seems to be a real struggle for many of us out there right now. So, let me see if I can share some tips and info to help you get on track with eating healthy for you and your families.<br \/><br \/>Eating healthy foods is a form of self-care and self-love.\u00a0The food &amp; nutrients we eat literally create our cells, tissues, organs, skin, hair, brain and thoughts and feelings. So it's important that we are feeding our bodies with healthy foods for the majority of the time.<br \/><br \/>However, life is running at a fast pace for most of us and finding the time &amp; energy to cook can often feel limited. Perhaps, you over think it and feel you should cook from a recipe in order to eat\u00a0healthier\u00a0meal. Or maybe you don't have all the ingredients and that's when the overwhelm starts to kick in... and then you reach for the easier option which likely isn't as healthy as it could be?! Right?!<br \/><br \/>If you're wanting to create a more sustainable way of eating healthy on a weekly basis, try using the tips below to help make a sustainable change.<br \/><br \/>They are very simple and may seem super obvious but they are real game changers.<\/span><br \/><br \/><strong><span style=\"font-family:Helvetica;\">Keep it Simple<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family:Helvetica;\">\u00a0- chose simple\u00a0nutritious\u00a0meals &amp; don't over think it. Slow cookers are great to threw all in to one place and let it slowly cook throughout the day.<\/span><\/p><p><strong>Experiment<\/strong> - once a month try a new recipe. By experimenting just once a month can take the pressure off yourself (rather than thinking you need to try something new each week) and you slowly build up new meal ideas.<br \/><br \/><strong><span style=\"font-family:Helvetica;\">Meal Planning<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family:Helvetica;\">\u00a0- plan your week ahead and decide what meals you will eat on each day.<\/span><br \/><br \/><strong><span style=\"font-family:Helvetica;\">Batch Cook Meals<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family:Helvetica;\">\u00a0- heard of the expression...'cook once, eat twice'? Make larger quantities of one meal and then save the rest for the next day or freeze the rest for another day. <\/span><br \/><br \/><strong><span style=\"font-family:Helvetica;\">Prep your veggies<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family:Helvetica;\">\u00a0- if you know what you will be eating each day in advance, then you'll be able to either prep veggies in the morning ready for later, or perhaps prep them the day before. By getting organised makes each day easier to eat healthy and takes more stress out of cooking.<\/span><\/p><p><strong><span style=\"font-family:Helvetica;\">Meal Prep<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family:Helvetica;\"> - become more efficient with your cooking time.
